  uou go to retro arch menu go to quick menu with the rom loaded up scroll down and click cheats and make a cheat with the codes after that save its name then when you got all the different cheats you want make a cheat save file by clicking save cheat file as higher up on the main cheat menu. this took me a while to find for myself aswell lol

The candies cheat just gave me lines and lines of candies and every time I touch it, it adds more even after disabling and closing.
