Pokemon Team Rocket Edition has 246 numbered TM slots, with 176 TMs currently obtainable in the game.

This guide lists every obtainable TM in one place, including its move, location and story stage. TMs are reusable once obtained, so they can be taught to multiple Pokemon without needing another copy.

The Story Stage column shows the part of the adventure in which the TM becomes available. This can differ from the physical region where the item is found.

English version note: some TMs from the Johto DLC or Hoenn may not yet appear in the English translation because it is behind the Spanish release.

How to Read the TM Locations

The Story Stage column shows when the documented location belongs to the game’s progression:

  • Kanto – Kanto story
  • Sevii Islands – Sevii Islands story
  • Johto – Johto story
  • Johto DLC – content after the main Johto section
  • Hoenn – Hoenn story

Are All 246 TMs Obtainable?

No. Pokemon Team Rocket Edition has 246 numbered TM slots, but 176 currently have obtainable in-game locations.

TM slots that are not yet obtainable are intentionally left out of the table above. This keeps the guide focused on TMs that players can actually collect.

Are TMs Reusable?

Yes. TMs are reusable in Pokemon Team Rocket Edition.

Once a TM has been obtained, it can be used again without needing another copy.

English Version Availability

Some TMs in the Johto DLC and Hoenn sections may not yet be available in the English translation because it is behind the Spanish version.

The Story Stage column makes it easy to identify which part of the adventure each TM belongs to.
