Pokemon Created by Rocket Experiments

Team Rocket’s scientific experiments create a separate group of powerful Pokemon and artificial forms in Pokemon Team Rocket Edition.

These Pokemon are divided into three prototype levels. Each level represents a later stage of Team Rocket’s research, with stronger stat increases and more advanced experimental methods.

The tables below list their current base stats, typings and abilities.

Level I Prototypes

Level I prototypes appear near the end of the Sevii Islands story.

Most gain around 100 additional base-stat points compared with their regular Team Rocket Edition form, similar to the stat increase of a Mega Evolution.

The X designation is generally used for forms focused on physical offense, while Y is generally used for forms focused on special offense. Some experiments use different names, such as Porygon3 and Aerodactyl-P, but still belong to the same prototype group.

Porygon3 is slightly different from the other forms because it functions as an evolution of Porygon2 rather than simply an alternate form.

Level II Prototypes

Level II prototypes appear from the Hoenn section onward.

Their development uses more advanced radio-wave technology, allowing larger stat increases than Level I prototypes.

Most gain around 150 base-stat points compared with their base form. The special forms of the Legendary Beasts use a slightly different increase.

The Z designation is common for this level, although forms such as Nidogod, Porygon3.1 and the Legendary Beast experiments use different names.
